arcplan again leading 3rd party BI front end and more

The BI Survey 12 has again confirmed arcplan as a leading provider of BI solutions for companies with a heterogeneous systems infrastructure. This is especially true for SAP, Oracle and IBM environments.

Twenty percent of SAP BW users – up from 13 percent in 2011 – responded that they use arcplan for their reports and analysis, reconfirming arcplan as the leading third-party frontend for the 8th time in a row and demonstrating its popularity over several of SAP's own tools.

Again arcplan is ranked as the most essential BI frontend to Oracle Essbase, with 25 percent of its users responding in arcplan’s favor and prominent organizations such as Turner Broadcasting, Wegmans, Sodexo, IMAX, Deutsche Telekom, and Southwest Airlines using arcplan to analyze their Essbase data.
 

Lastly, arcplan remains the leading frontend to IBM Cognos TM1 for the 3rd year in a row, besting Cubeware Cockpit and Oracle Hyperion Planning.
