The solution presented here allows MIGROS to perform an objective quantitative assessment of market locations. One of arcplan's partner companies, bwv IT solutions AG in St.Gallen, was selected to develop this system.The site application was originally developed by bwv IT solutions together with the MIGROS cooperative in Bern. The information system was deployed early in 2000 throughout the entire MIGROS cooperative association and is used by all ten individual cooperatives. The OBI home improvement chain that cooperates with MIGROS in Switzerland is also linked to the system.
