arcplan Grows With Multiple New Customers

Langenfeld, Germany. August 19, 2008 – arcplan, an international provider of Enterprise Performance Management solutions, announced today that it has achieved excellent results in the first half of 2008. The company was able to win several prestigious new customers as well as additional orders from existing clients. The success confirms that arcplan’s strategy of driving international growth is bearing fruit, with most of the new business originatingin EMEA, North America and Asia .

Growth in international customer base
Highlights among arcplan’s many new customers in 2008 include Hyundai Powertech of Korea, which manufactures gearboxes and other automotive products; and in Germany Evonik Industries, an industrial group specializing in chemicals, energy and real estate management. Additional wins comprise Euronext (France), the pan-European stock exchange; Iberia Airlines (Spain), an air transportation group; Migros (Switzerland), a leading supermarket chain; and Roche (Switzerland), a pharmaceutical and healthcare group. arcplan’s US subsidiary also closed some important new deals, including the American Life Insurance Company (Alico), a large financial services group; Sodexo, a provider of food and facilities management services; and the Pacific Gas and Electric Company (PG&E), a California-based energy utility.

Rapid deployment and flexible solutions
The arcplan solution can be deployed rapidly and enables customers to natively access a wide range of data sources. As a result, it is versatile enough to be used for many different application types. For example, Evonik Industries’ real estate division now uses a solution developed by Deloitte and based on arcplan Enterprise to manage their property portfolio. Roche, an existing arcplan customer, has developed a new investor relations application. The arcplan solution enables Roche shareholders and investors to access the web-based Roche Finance Information System, and drill down into Roche’s global, regional, and product-by-product sales figures.
