Frank Zimpel joins arcplan as new Chief Financial Officer. Furthermore Tiemo Winterkamp will take responsibility as Director of Marketing for Europe, Middle East and Africa as well as Asia and Pacific (EMEA & APAC).
Frank Zimpel joins arcplan as Chief Financial Officer
The qualified bank officer and graduate in business economics has more than 19 years of professional experience, with 16 years in management positions. Prior to arcplan Zimpel was Managing Director at denkwerk GmbH, an internet agency in Germany fo-cussing on branding, online advertising, e-commerce solutions and technology services,. Successfully leading denkwerk for seven years, Zimpel was instrumental in the restruc-turing of the agency after the new economy break down. Zimpel had a leading role in establishing denkwerk as one of the TOP 15 internet agencies.
From 1997 to 2001 Zimpel led the finance department of Uncle Sam GmbH & Co. KG, an international sportswear company where he was responsible for the integration of new companies. Zimpel also held key positions at Toyota Kreditbank GmbH and Schäfer Sportswear GmbH.

Tiemo Winterkamp new Director Marketing EMEA & APAC
With a degree in computer science, Winterkamp joins arcplan with 19 years of expertise in the IT industry with a dedicated focus on Business Intelligence (BI). Before joining arcplan he worked as a management consultant leading go-to-market strategies and positioning for high tech companies (start ups and SMBs). As an entrepreneur Winter-kamp founded the phone self-services provider VoiceObjects in 2001. There he held the role as Vice President Strategy & Market Research and at the same time was responsi-ble for the company´s global marketing. An expert in the BI space, Winterkamp also served as Marketing Manager Central Europe for BI provider MicroStrategy in Germany and worked closely with the US headquarters. After his graduation Winterkamp gained professional experiences as System Consultant and Marketing Manager at Informix, Software AG and Ingres.
Winterkamp is the author of a variety of articles and whitepapers as well as co-author of a book on data warehousing.
