Two-day event sponsored by Teradata, Oracle and Amorsys packed with educational sessions, workshops, networking, and award ceremony

Langenfeld (Germany), February 08, 2012 – arcplan today announced details for its global partner conference – arc|platform 2012 – to be held at the Atlantic Hotel in Essen (Germany) from March 15-16. For the first time ever, arc|platform 2012 will span two days in order to augment the education and networking available to arcplan partners. arcplan experts will provide attendees with the latest information on the company's strategy and vision, product development and sales tactics. In addition, partners will learn more about the recently-released arcplan 7 platform and the future of self-service, mobile and collaborative BI. A series of technology- and business-focused workshops and the annual arcplan Partner Awards ceremony will round out the event. At this year's conference, arcplan is expecting partners from Germany, Austria, Spain, Switzerland, the United Kingdom, and the United States, Brazil, India, China, and Marocco.

arc|platform presents participants with the opportunity to attend a broad range of informative sessions, making this a one-of-a-kind event for skill enhancement, knowledge exchange and networking opportunities with industry peers. The conference kicks off on Thursday, March 15 with a welcome and introduction by arcplan's Senior VP Channels & Business Development, Oliver Deistler, then continues with a full day of educational sessions and best practices from different markets. Attendees can interact directly with arcplan experts and participate in hands-on workshops and technical demonstrations of arcplan's software solutions including its flagship BI platform arcplan Enterprise and its ad-hoc tools arcplan Excel Analytics and arcplan Spotlight. Also slated are high-level Sales Enablement and Business Development sessions focused on unlocking the potential for increased revenues. Day one continues with presentations from international database vendors Teradata (NYSE: TDC) - Platinum Sponsor - and Oracle (NasdaqGS: ORCL)  - Gold & Evening Sponsor - who will discuss the Big Data trend, their latest data warehouse platform developments and cost-savings opportunities from utilizing arcplan BI. The day will end with an exclusive evening reception and live entertainment.

Roland Hölscher, arcplan's CEO, will keynote Friday morning's (March 16) general session, which will be followed by educational sessions, including a presentation on cloud BI from various partners (including arcplan's new partner from Morocco and arc|platform Gold Sponsor, Amorsys), and time for socializing and networking. A highlight of the second day will be the annual arcplan Partner Awards ceremony.
