eLearning - Advanced Training

The Advanced Training eLearning class offers a user-focused approach to learning. The online course covers the same topics as the classroom training; however the online module allows the student to work at his or her own pace, and at their convenience.

The Advanced course is designed for individuals who have already worked on a project in arcplan Enterprise and have completed the Foundation Training (available through arcplan Education). These individuals include:

Developers / internal editors
Project Managers

The Advanced course consists of 18 videos that are designed to give participants a thorough understanding of the full flexibility and functionality needed to create more comprehensive applications with arcplan Enterprise.

What is Covered?

Highlights include:

Best practices for arcplan Enterprise-based projects
Best practices for application development (document templates, sizing, zooming, positioning, synchronization of documents and objects)
Working with central documents (drill-down, use of internal database, Object() and Reference () functions, creating multi-language applications)
Building user documents (enhancing security, dynamic coloring of graphics, pop-up menus)
Other functionalities of arcplan Enterprise (bookmarks, data export, print capabilities)
And much more

At the end of each video, you take a short quiz to test your new knowledge. Each quiz contributes to a final grade, so you must pass each quiz in order to pass the course, and subsequently print your certificate at the end of the course.

How Often May I Try?

You can follow the course from start to finish (recommended), or jump to a specific topic at any time. All lessons can be viewed as many times as you like, and quizzes can be taken as many times as necessary. The class is available to you for 30 days or until you complete the class by passing all quizzes.
